The chicken legs are seasoned with salt and black pepper before being grilled or baked until juicy and cooked through. A simple Nashville Hot sauce is made with hot sauce (use your favorite), vegetable oil, sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika and a shake of cayenne (add as much as you like). Ingredients

• 2 - 3 pounds chicken legs

Nashville Hot Sauce

• 1/4 cup hot sauce
• 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
• 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
• dash of ground cayenne pepper

Here's how to make it:

1. To grill the chicken, heat the grill to medium heat or the oven to 375 degrees F. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Grill the chicken, covered, turning often, until cooked through, about 20 minutes. 
2. To bake the chicken, put the chicken on a baking sheet and bake, turning occasionally, until cooked through, about 30 to 40 minutes. (Chicken should have an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.)
3. While the chicken cooks, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients. Toss the cooked chicken in the sauce or you can brush the sauce on the chicken during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Serve. Store any leftover chicken in an airtight container in the fridge.
