My chives are growing like wildfire in my herb garden. So fast it's hard to keep up with cutting and cooking with them! So finding new ways to use chives has been on my radar. This whipped cream cheese spread recipe is just what I needed!
This easy whipped chive cream cheese spread recipe is delicious spread of crackers, toasted bread, stuffed inside celery or even as a sandwich filling (add some lettuce and sliced red onion).
Here is your short gluten-free shopping list for this cheese appetizer or snack recipe: cream cheese, lemons for juicing (read about the health benefits of lemon), fresh chives (check out the health benefits of chives), capers or black olives and Greek yogurt (Greek yogurt if full of health benefits).
Variation: If you don't like capers, you could use chopped black olives or just leave them out.
Serve this creamy cheese spread as a cheesy snack or appetizer or even as part of a charcuterie board.
