To make this three-ingredient, budget pot roast recipe you will need the following pantry ingredients: a packet of dry gravy mix, a packet of dry salad dressing mix and a sirloin beef tip roast (or your favorite type of beef roast). The seasoning mixes are stirred together with some water in a slow cooker, and then in goes the roast. Cover and cook for about seven hours or until fall-apart tender.

Use whatever dry salad dressing mix you like – garlic and herb, ranch, Italian, zesty Italian, balsamic, etc. I chose by the mood I'm in! I love that my family gets the health benefits of protein in every bite of this high-protein recipe.
