This tender beef brisket recipe is easy and so yummy! The ingredients are all put into a slow cooker, covered and forgotten for about eight hours. How simple can it be? This may be your new favorite brisket recipe.

The ingredients for this slow-cooker recipe are simple: brisket, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, garlic powder, Splenda for a little sweetness and some salt. The brisket cooks until fork tender, juicy and amazing. Let the brisket rest for a bit before slicing or shredding. If you want a saucier brisket, you could double the ingredients (not the brisket!).

Ingredients

• 3 pounds brisket
• 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
• 4 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce or tamari (tamari is gluten-free)
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon Splenda
• 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Here's how to make it: 

1. Put all the ingredients into a slow cooker. (For a gluten-free brisket, you tamari instead of soy sauce. If you don't want to use Splenda, you could use cane sugar, coconut sugar, brown sugar or your favorite sweetener.)
2. Cook on low for 8 hours. Slice and serve. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave.
