Banana Oatmeal Cookie Recipe Is 3-Ingredient Gluten-free Cookie Bliss Cookies Desserts Snacks Gluten-free Fruit Low Sodium Recipes

Oatmeal cookies never go out of style. From grandma's oatmeal cookies to maple oatmeal cookies to Ukrainian oatmeal cookies, your cookie jar just wouldn't be the same without them.

This easy oatmeal cookie recipe has just three ingredients and is gluten free (you also can use regular quick oats). Walnuts, pecans, almonds, cashews and even macadamia nuts are perfect for adding the nutty crunch. The best part? Dessert or a healthy snack is on the table in about 20 minutes!

To make these low-calorie, low-sodium oatmeal cookies you need just three simple ingredients. Here's what to grab so you can get to baking: bananas, gluten-free quick oats (you can use regular oats if you're not watching your gluten intake or on a gluten-free diet) and chopped nuts. The cookie ingredients are mixed together and baked for about 12 to 15 minutes. Done!

Can they be made without the nuts?

With such few ingredients, the dough would probably be too lose without the nuts. You could substitute chocolate chips, flaked coconut, raisins or other dried fruit.
