Here is your shopping list: ground beef, onion, taco seasoning, cabbage, carrots, a can of beef broth and two cans of diced tomatoes. You can also grab some cilantro and sour cream, for serving, if you feel so inclined.

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 package (1 ounce) taco seasoning
  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped

  • 2 cans (14 ounces each) diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups water
  • chopped cilantro, for garnish (optional)

  1. Cook the ground beef and onion in a large soup pot until meat is browned and onion is soft, about 5 minutes
