Cuisine: American

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 6 medium carrots
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt (or your favorite seasoning)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Here's how to make it:
- Cut the carrots, peeled or unpeeled, diagonally into chunks. Put them into a bowl. Carrots don't need to be peeled. If you're not peeling them, scrub them under water before cutting. I did not peel my carrots. Use rainbow carrots for a beautiful presentation.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar, garlic salt and butter. Melt in the microwave. Stir to combine. I used Morton Garlic Sea Salt on my carrots, but use your favorite seasoning blend. For carrots lower in sodium, use a no-salt or low-salt seasoning blend.
- Pour the butter over the carrots. Toss to coat the carrots.
- Cover the air fryer basket or tray with aluminum foil. Pour the carrots onto the foil.
- Air fry the carrots at 390 degrees F for 15 minutes.
- Serve. Store any leftover carrots in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
