Best Pan-Seared Halloumi Cheese Recipe: Healthy Mediterranean Eating Has Never Tasted So Good Grilling Appetizers

30Seconds Food

Halloumi is a semi-hard, unripe cheese made from sheep or goat milk (occasionally it is made from cow's milk). Halloumi is high in protein, calcium and other nutrients. It has a high melting point, so it can be pan seared, fried or grilled. This easy pan-seared halloumi recipe is a delicious appetizer, meat substitute or can be used in salads or buddha bowls. To add more flavor, drizzle with a balsamic reduction or our lemon vinaigrette, rosemary lemon garlic vinaigrette or Greek vinaigrette.
