To make this creamy, gluten-free tuna salad recipe you will need canned tuna, celery, red onion, pickle relish, fresh parsley, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice (fresh is best) and olive oil.

Ingredients

• 15 ounces (3 cans) tuna, drained and flaked with a fork  
• 3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion (see Recipe Notes)
• 2 tablespoons pickle relish or finely chopped bread and butter pickles
• 2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
• 1/3 cup mayonnaise (up to 1/2 cup for creamier tuna)
• 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon olive oil

Recipe Notes

• Soak the red onions in cold water for five minutes to take away the bite.

• You can use water- or oil-packed tuna.

• Store the tuna salad in an airtight container.

Here's how to make it:

1. Put the tuna into a bowl. 
2. Add the remaining ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
