Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tablespoon rapid rise yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk, warmed
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon butter, to cook
Here's how to make it:
- Combine the flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Add the milk, egg, vanilla and butter. Stir to combine.
- Let the mixture rise until it doubles in size, about 30 minutes.
- Heat 1 teaspoon butter in a skillet. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter per pancake into the skillet. Cook until bubbles start to form. Flip and cook until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Serve with maple syrup or honey.
