Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet. Add the mushrooms and cook about 4 minutes over medium-high heat or until soft and browned. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds.
  2. Add the broth, heavy cream, Dijon and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 to 6 minutes or until liquid has reduced slightly and gets creamy.
  3. To serve, ladle into a bowl and top with a scoop of mashed potatoes. Garnish with chopped herbs.

Rosseyes , if you want to serve this over noodles, simply cook them according to package directions and pour your finished mushroom stroganoff over them. That would be delicious!

FYI worcestershire sauce is made with this thing called anchovies, which is actually a fish! I don't know if you knew this, but fish are actually living creatures and don't grow on trees. Fish bleed just like cows and chickens. So this is actually a TERRIBLE recipe to pass off on "meatless Monday"

Hi, Keepingitreal . There are vegan Worcestershire sauces. I have two vegan kids and have a bottle in my fridge. We will add that note to the recipe. Thank you so much for pointing that out.
