Copycat London Fog Tea Latte Recipe Tastes Like You're Sitting at Starbucks (5 Ingredients) Copycat Recipes Beverages Breakfast Brunch Snacks Spices
Chai tea latte. When ordering from Starbucks, my eyes had blinders on them. Venti chai latte, seven pumps, no water. That's the only thing ordered by me at the coffee chain. Until I learned about London Fog tea. OMG! And this Starbuck's London Fog copycat recipe really does it justice. Mmm.
To make this London Fog tea recipe you only need five ingredients. Here is your short shopping list: Earl Grey tea (learn about the health benefits of tea), dried lavender, milk, sweetener of choice (I like granulated sugar) and vanilla extract. Your cup of tea is hot and ready in about 10 minutes.
Sip on a mug of this lavender-scented hot tea in the morning with breakfast, with your brunch spread or any time during the day that you need a sip of calm (lavender may help calm anxiety). This is one hot beverage recipe you'll make over and over again (and you don't have to leave the house!).
Cuisine: Canadian / American

Cook Time: 5 to 10 minutes
Total Time: 5 to 10 minutes
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong-brewed Earl Grey tea
- 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender
- 1/2 cup hot milk (do not boil)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (use whatever kind of sweetener you like)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Here's how to make it:
- Brew the tea along with the dried lavender. Make it strong! Remove the tea bag or tea infuser if using loose tea. If using a tea bag, strain to remove the lavender.
- Add the hot milk, sugar and vanilla. You could use granulated sugar, brown sugar, agave nectar, a sugar substitute, honey or whatever you like. Stir and serve.
