The avocados are mashed then stirred together with the other ingredients. Such a fresh, simple and easy snack!

Ingredients

• 2 ripe Hass avocados
• 2 teaspoons lime juice
• 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro 
• 1/4 cup diced red onion 
• 1/2 diced jalapeño, including seeds
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Here’s how to make it:

1. Cut avocados in half and remove pits. (Be sure to use ripe avocados.)
2. Scoop the avocados into a bowl. 
3. Toss and coat with lime juice.
4. Add the salt and mash until it's a smooth consistency.
5. Fold in remaining ingredients and mix. (Stir in some chopped tomatoes, if desired.)
6. Taste the guacamole and adjust seasoning, if necessary. This guacamole recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for parties and get-together. Guacamole is best eaten right away.
