10-Minute Spicy Broccolini Recipe: Get Your Taste Buds Ready to Wok & Roll Vegetables Side Dishes

This quick and easy spicy broccolini recipe has just the right amount of spice to elevate any meal. If your family loves broccoli, then broccolini is a no-brainer.

Broccolini is sometimes called baby broccoli, but it's not just broccoli that isn't mature yet like many people think. Broccolini is a hybrid of broccoli and Chinese broccoli. Nothing babyish about that! The vegetable has long thin stalks and more open and softer tops than regular broccoli. This cruciferous vegetable is healthy, too. Broccolini is high in calcium, fiber and magnesium.

The broccolini is cooked in a little water until crispy-tender. Chili garlic sauce, lime juice and crushed red pepper flakes are added and that's it. The spicy broccolini is ready to be served in less than 10 minutes.  Serve this pan-cooked broccolini with chickenseafoodporkbeef or your favorite Asian recipe. You could even cut it up and throw it in your salad.
