This Creamy Dill Pickle Dip Recipe Is an Unexpected Surprise Appetizers

Pickle lovers (and pregnant ladies?) will have fits over this refreshing dill pickle dip recipe. It's a simple cold dip recipe to serve at all your get-togethers (especially bridal showers!). Your guests will be surprised when it tastes like a dill pickle! 

The creamy cold dip recipe is made with cream cheese, sour cream, dill pickles, garlic powder, onion powder and fresh chopped dill. You can stir in optional ingredients for more flavor and texture like capers, lemon juice, chopped garlic, chopped shallots or chopped green onions. Stir everything together, cover and chill until you are ready to serve. 

Serve this easy dill pickle dip with chips, crackers, toasted bread or fresh vegetables. Not a fan of dill pickles? Try it with bread and butter pickles. So easy and so good.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • optional mix-ins: capers, lemon, chopped garlic, chopped shallot, chopped green onions

  1. Combine the cream cheese and sour cream in a bowl until well blended.
  2. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Serve immediately or cover and chill.
