To make this simple green tea ice cream, you'll need just a few ingredients: heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, matcha green tea powder (read about the health benefits of matcha) and vanilla extract. That's it! The gluten-free ingredients are whipped in a mixer then put in the freezer until set. So easy!

Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 14 ounces (1 can) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
- 2 - 3 tablespoons matcha green tea powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Here’s how to make it:
- Pour the heavy whipping cream into the bowl of your mixer. Whip the cream on medium to high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Slowly add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla while continuing to whip on low. Turn the speed up and whip until thick.
- Add the green tea powder and whip until combined. (If you would like a less strong green tea flavor, use 2 tablespoons of green tea powder. If you prefer a stronger flavor, use 3 tablespoons of powder.)
- Pour into a freezer container and freeze until firm, at least 4 hours. Serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.
