3 Vegan Foods Every Family Should Have in Their Pantry! Vegan

Our pantries are often filled with processed or canned foods that, in my opinion, hinder our health. Here are three healthy, vegan ingredients that every family should have stocked in their pantry.

  • Coconut oil: This natural oil has a high smoke point making it great as a cooking oil. However, coconut oil can also be used outside of the kitchen as a body lotion, hair conditioner and even sunscreen!
  • Nutritional yeast: With its nutty, cheesy, creamy flavor, its flaky goodness is the perfect addition to salad dressings and pasta sauce. The best part? It is high in protein and vitamin B!
  • Apple cider vinegar: Organic, unpasteurized ACV can be used as a salad dressing or added to smoothies to maintain a healthy alkaline pH level. It also does wonders for your hair, teeth and skin!
