It's not a secret that I have two freezers full of ground meat in my garage. While I'm always on the lookout for new ground beef recipes, there's really nothing like a good burger for lunch or dinner. This easy crack burger recipe takes those burgers up a juicy notch.
The burger patties are seasoned with all those ingredients that qualify for "crack recipe" status. You only need five ingredients to make these flavor-packed beef burger patties. Here is your short shopping list: ground beef, sour cream, dry ranch seasoning, bacon and cheddar cheese. The ingredients are mixed together, shaped into patties and cooked to your desired doneness. The gluten-free patties can be cooked on an outdoor grill, indoor grill, or in a grill pan or skillet.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning
- 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Here's how to make it:
- Put the ground beef, sour cream, ranch seasoning, crumbled bacon and cheese into a mixing bowl. Season with black pepper, if desired.
- Mix until combined.
- Shape into four patties.
- Cook the burgers on a grill, in a grill pan or in a skillet until cooked to desired doneness. The cooking time will depend on how thick you make the burgers.
- Assemble burgers with your favorite burger toppings. Store any leftover patties in an airtight container in the fridge.
