Leprechaun Thumbprints Candy Recipe: A Fun 3-Ingredient St. Patrick's Day Treat Holidays Desserts Snacks Candy

Leprechaun thumbprints are an easy and fun food idea that is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser on St. Patrick's Day, or anytime. This sweet and salty St. Patrick's Day dessert recipe requires only three ingredients and can be made in less than 10 minutes. It's a fun activity to do with your kids, too.

The St. Patrick's Day candy is made with square or twist pretzels, Rolo candies and green M&Ms. Start by putting the pretzels onto a baking sheet. Top each pretzel with a milk chocolate Rolo candy and bake in the oven for three to five minutes or until the chocolate turns shiny. Remove the baking tray from the oven and press a green M&M candy onto the melted Rolo. Let the candy cool and then it is ready to be served to your lucky little leprechauns!

I like to chill mine in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. This chocolate pretzel candy is so good! This is one delicious candy or snack treat that both parents and kids will love. Sweet and salty, who can resist?

I just can't bring myself to have these without a pecan half on top. Maybe I could use a couple of green mini M&Ms or some green sprinkles?
