Stuffed Apples: A Healthy & Portable Snack for Kids! Get the Recipe!

I'm constantly trying to come up with creative (and portable) ways to provide healthy snacks for my preschooler. It was actually his suggestion to put something in an apple vs. on it. Here's how I make my stuffed apples:

  • Cut the core out of an apple out by cutting similar-sized circles on top and bottom.
  • Use a baby food spoon to scoop peanut butter into the hole where the core was.
  • You can layer goodies – a scoop of SunButter, raisins, granola, coconut, crisp rice cereal, etc.

The possibilities are endless!

Love this tip @cjalldressedup. One of my favorite combinations is apple, almond butter, and raisins. Tastes allllllllmost like a caramel taffy apple!! :)
