Looking for a simple and tasty chicken dinner? This easy skillet Greek chicken recipe with broccoli has become one of my go-to weeknight meals. I love the Mediterranean flavors and that it comes together in only about 30 minutes.
This Greek-inspired chicken recipe is made with nine ingredients including fresh rosemary, lemon and oregano, so it's a great addition to a heart-healthy Mediterranean diet. Check out the health benefits of broccoli and the health benefits of rosemary.
To make this flavorful skillet dinner, you'll need these gluten-free ingredients: chicken breast, fresh broccoli, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, honey, minced garlic, oregano and fresh rosemary. You coat the chicken and broccoli in the mixture then cook them in a skillet until done.
Serve this easy chicken and broccoli skillet for a low-carb and high-protein dinner all on its own or with your favorite side dishes. I served it with Greek potatoes and some lemon slices for an easy and flavorful meal.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds boneless/skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
- lemon slices for serving (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- In a medium mixing bowl, add the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, mustard, honey, oregano and rosemary. Season with sea salt and black pepper, to taste, if desired. Whisk to blend. (I prefer to squeeze my own fresh lemon juice, but you can use bottled in a pinch.)
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper, if desired. Add the chicken and broccoli to the mixture and toss to coat.
- Add the coated chicken and broccoli to a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sauté until chicken is cooked through and broccoli is tender. (Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F on a food thermometer.)
- Serve immediately on its own or with your favorite side dishes. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave.
