I have made this twice. The first time, I missed the salt and pepper. It's not on the ingredient list, and I was in a hurry, so I didn't think about it. My pet peeve is when ingredients are in the instructions but not on the ingredient list. My second pet peeve is when the recipe calls for "salt and pepper to taste." How exactly is that done when you have raw ingredients? Please give an estimate for the salt and pepper and put it on the ingredient list. Users can adjust to their taste the second time around.

Salt and pepper are so personal -- some people like it and some people don't, and many people know how much they like -- so we often use "to taste." But we completely understand what you're saying (especially about including it on the ingredients list) and will take it to heart as we publish going forward.
