You need a new creamy dip in your life, right? I made these incredibly tasty crispy zucchini fries the other day and had this wonderful creamy feta herb dipping sauce for them that made them extra special. This tasty feta dipping sauce recipe is layered in tastes, with the saltiness of the feta and the extra layer of taste with the fresh dill and thyme. All you need to do is combine the ingredients in a food processor and this creamy feta dipping sauce is ready in a snap!
To make this creamy feta dip recipe you will need feta cheese, which may be the healthiest cheese in the world, plain Greek yogurt (check out the health benefits of yogurt), olive oil, garlic, lemons for juicing, fresh thyme and fresh dill.
You can serve this creamy Mediterranean-inspired dip recipe with my baked zucchini fries, or use in on grain salads, pasta salads or lettuce salads. You can also dip raw vegetables into it, pita chips, breadsticks, pretzels or use it as a sandwich spread or sauce for gyros. How will you use it?

Ingredients
- 4 ounces feta cheese
- 1/2 cup whole-milk plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small garlic clove, coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, plus more for garnish
- 2 teaspoons fresh chopped dill, plus more for garnish
Recipe Notes
- If you don't have a blender or food processor, vigorously whisk together the ingredients in a mixing bowl. It helps if the feta is at room temperature.
- Store the feta dip in an airtight container, salad dressing cruet or mason jar.
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Scrape down the sides to make sure all the ingredients combine until creamy. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
