A Chef Shares Her Easy Hollywood Cobb Salad Dressing Recipe (With 3 Variations) by Chef Gigi
There's nothing like a good Cobb salad. Cobb salad was developed by Bob Cobb in 1937 for his Brown Derby Restaurant in Hollywood, Calif. The hearty and delicious salad recipe has been a famous American dish ever since. Now, let's make the Hollywood Cobb salad dressing famous, too. It deserves some recognition all its own.
This easy vinaigrette dressing recipe can be made with three different vinegars – balsamic, apple cider or white wine vinegar – giving you three variations. The recipe also includes Dijon mustard, fresh minced garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper. The ingredients are then whisked together.
