When I discovered this meatloaf recipe, it was said to be a family secret recipe. Well, I'm letting the cat out of the bag. How can I not share a balsamic-glazed meatloaf recipe? The ground beef meatloaf is moist, full of flavor and super easy to make.
To make this glazed meatloaf recipe you will need to gather the following ingredients from your fridge and pantry: ground beef, quick oats, milk, an egg, an onion, Worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, ketchup, balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Sweet, tangy and savory!
Serve slices of this high-protein meatloaf drizzled with the flavorful pan drippings. (Check out the health benefits of protein.) You'll definitely need a side of mashed potatoes to soak it up and a fresh vegetable and salad.

Ingredients
Meatloaf
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard

- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Glaze
- 1/4 cup ketchup

Here's how to make it:
- Combine all the meatloaf ingredients. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together. Shape into a loaf and put into a meatloaf pan or on a rimmed baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper. (You could try this recipe with ground turkey instead of ground beef.)
- Combine the glaze ingredients. Spread the mixture over the meatloaf.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven cooked through, about 1 hour (ovens vary). Store any leftover meatloaf in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat in the microwave.
