The cream hasn't thickened. Not sure if I did something wrong...or if this recipe is missing something?

You may not have cooked it long enough. Because this recipe doesn't use a thickener, like flour or cornstarch, you need to cook it until it thickens on its own. The French way! Hope this helped.

This has a thinner sauce. It's delicious. My kids love it.

If you want a thicker sauce, add some cornstarch or flour at the end.
