Cocktails

For a flavorful treat, add some of your favorite ripened fruit to your next batch of margaritas or mojitos. My margarita recipe is easy!
You'll need:
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1 cup orange juice
- tequila, to taste
- ripened fruit (mango, peaches, watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, etc.)
- ice
Here's how to make them:
- Put all the ingredients in a blender.
- Process until smooth.
Another option is a mojito, the Cuban equivalent to the mint julep! You'll need:
- 5 mint leaves
- 2 lime wedges
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ice
- 2 ounces rum
- soda water
- mint and fresh fruit, for garnish
Here's how to make them:
- Muddle the mint leaves, lime wedges and sugar in a 10-ounce glass.
- Fill with ice and top with the rum and a splash of soda water.
- Stir and garnish with fresh mint, lime or other fresh fruit of your choice. Serve in sugar-rimmed glassware.
