- 2 cups sugar
- 4 teaspoons root beer extract
- 4 teaspoons yeast
Here's how to make it:
- Put all the ingredients into a gallon container to a tight-fitting lid. Fill it about half full with warm water. Shake to combine.
- Add more lukewarm water to fill. Put the cap on and set it in the sun or a warm place for at least 4 hours.
- After 4 hours put it into the refrigerator to chill. When it's cold, it's ready to serve over ice or in a root beer float with vanilla ice cream.
