Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
- 2 cups cashews, coarsely broken up
Here's how to make it:
- Combine the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a saucepot over low heat. Stir until melted and bring to a boil.
- Cook until it turns golden brown and is at 290 degrees F (soft crack stage) on a candy thermometer, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
- Turn the heat off and stir in the cashews.
- Pour onto a buttered baking sheet. Allow it to cool completely, then break into pieces.
