Protein is an important part of a healthy diet, especially as we age. The health benefits of protein make it something you should consider when planning your daily meals, even breakfast.
Pork and eggs are in fried rice, so why can't they stand alone – together? (Got you thinking, don't we?) Shake up breakfast or brunch with this easy ground pork and egg recipe. The protein-rich meal is on the table in less than 10 minutes, and can be served for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner (think breakfast for dinner).
To make this scrambled egg recipe you will need eggs (check out the health benefits of eggs), ground pork, low-sodium soy sauce and butter. If you like things spicy, throw in that Thai chile. Serve these fluffy, meaty gluten-free scrambled eggs with your favorite side dishes.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs

- Instead of ground pork, try ground turkey or ground chicken. You could even use ground pork or turkey breakfast sausage.

- Make this recipe even healthier by using olive oil instead of butter.
- This recipe can easily be doubled.
Here's how to make it:
