Ingredients
- 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Here's how to make it:
- Spread the green beans evenly on the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with the garlic and drizzle with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. For easier cleanup, cover the bottom of the baking pan with aluminum foil.
- Bake in a preheated 425-degree F oven for about 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese, followed by the mozzarella cheese. Bake another 5 minutes or until cheese has melted. (Feel free to change up the cheeses. Gruyere, gouda, fontina, asiago, provolone, white cheddar or a cheese blend would make these green beans sing. This delicious vegetable recipe can be doubled or even tripled for larger families.) Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and reheat in the microwave.
