Grandma's Meatloaf: This Basic Meatloaf Recipe Proves Less Is Best by Gwen Johnson
Sometimes simple is better. Less is best. This easy meatloaf recipe like my grandma used to make is the perfect example.
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper, or to taste
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all ingredients.
- Form into a loaf and place in a baking dish or meatloaf pan.
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 45 minutes, or until cooked through. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
