This Easy Chicken Cacciatore Recipe Will Turn You Into a Hunter (Seriously!)

In Italian, cacciatore means "hunter." Not sure how it applies to this chicken cacciatore dish, but you will be hunting for the recipe after you try it.

You'll need:

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Cook the chicken, onion, chopped garlic and red bell pepper until soft, about 5 minutes. Season with the garlic salt and black pepper, to taste.
  2. Add the tomatoes with their liquid, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning and sugar. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook about 9-12 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through. Stir in the chopped parsley.
