Chili's® Copycat Salsa Recipe: This Is the Restaurant's Famous Homemade Salsa Recipe With a Twist

Some jarred salsas are OK, but nothing beats homemade – and who doesn't love Chili's® Bar & Grill's salsa? This copycat recipe combines pantry and fresh ingredients, and the results are addicting! If you like chunkier salsa like me, add the additional stir-ins. Serve with tortilla chips (try this homemade tortilla chips recipe from Jan Mostrom) or use in your favorite recipes.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes

You'll need:

Salsa

Additional Stir-ins

  • chopped onion
  • fresh chopped cilantro
  • diced fresh tomato

Here's how to make it:

  1. Add the salsa ingredients to a blender. Pulse a few times, but not too much. You want it to stay a little chunky.
  2. Pour into a bowl and add additional chopped onion, tomato and the fresh cilantro. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Haven't made this in a while. Think it's time!

Donna John I don't blend mine at all, which I know is probably weird! I love it in all it's chunky glory. Love making salsa, rarely buy jars of it. So much tastier. Thank you for this recipe! :) I have never added cumin, but plan to try it.

I like mine chunky, too. That's why I added the additional stir-ins. :-) Let me know how you like it!
