Walnut, Lentil & Quinoa Vegan "Meat" Recipe: How to Make Vegan Walnut Meat Like on TikTok (Kind Of)

I have been on a food processor kick, so when I saw a recipe for walnut "meat" I had to try it. I am so glad I did! Here is my rendition. Use this "meat" in a taco, burrito, lettuce wrap, for a veggie burger or straight out of a bowl. Dress it up with salsa, veggies like sweet potato, Daiya shreds, black olives or avocado.

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 1 hour to soak
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

Here's how to make it:

  1. Soak walnuts in water for an hour. Strain and add to your food processor.
  2. Add taco seasoning, onion powder and garlic salt. Blend until it resembles a ground meat texture.
  3. Fold in the cooked lentils and quinoa/brown rice.
