Hey, Garth Brooks, how about a banana daiquiri in each hand? Don't get me wrong, pina coladas rock, but there's just something about a good banana daiquiri. Shut your eyes and you can almost feel yourself laying on that white sand beach with your toes in the sand. This banana daiquiri recipe uses fresh banana, not that fake stuff in a bottle.
You'll need:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 cups ice
- 2 – 3 ounces rum
- maraschino cherries and pineapple wedges, for garnish (optional)
Here’s how to make it:
- Put all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry and chunk of pineapple, if desired. Makes two drinks.
