These festive and fun ice cream sandwiches on a stick start with store-bought ice cream sandwiches and are perfect for summer holidays. These easy dessert treats can be assembled in four simple steps. Customize the sprinkle colors so they fit whatever occasion you're celebrating (such as red, white and blue for summer holidays). You can store them in an air-tight container in the freezer until you're ready to serve. Try not to eat more than one!

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 12

Here's how to make them:

  1. Unwrap your ice cream sandwiches.
  2. Pour colored sprinkles on a plate (red, white and blue sprinkles for summer holidays, orange and black for Halloween, colored for a fun summer day, etc.).
  3. Insert a wooden craft stick.
  4. Dip each side in the sprinkles to cover.

I'm making these for our July 4th party. Last year we had a sundae bar, but with the Texas heat the ice cream was almost melted before everyone made there. This year, going to just pass out these adorable treats! Thanks for the great idea, Chrissy Jones!

These were a hit at our July 4th party! Kids and adults loved them. Have made them again since for my grandson who now thinks this is how ice cream sandwiches are done, @beyondthepark.
