How to Make Low-Calorie Tacos to Enjoy With Your Family!

Ever since "The LEGO Movie," my kids bug me for Taco Tuesday any night of the week. However, there can be so many calories in tacos. Here's one way I found I can enjoy this meal with my family: 

  • I either make a spinach/kale base or use whole romaine lettuce leaves. 
  • I sprinkle my ground turkey taco meat, onion, white kidney beans with less than 1/8 cup of cheese over my choice of greenery. 

It comes in at less than 400 calories, about 35g of protein and 7g of fiber. A filling meal without the guilt! (Just don't eat the shell!)
