Robert Chaffin, Executive Chef of Dahlia’s Restaurant & Porch at Hilton Atlanta Northeast, is a seasoned culinary professional with over 25 years of experience in the food service industry. Chef Chaffin is inspired by Southern American cuisine and has implemented a spirited new menu using superior quality products from regional farms and suppliers. As Executive Chef, he is responsible for the food and beverage programs at Dahlia’s and the hotel’s in-room service options.

Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Chef at the Fox Theatre, The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, and Emory Conference Center Hotel, where he demonstrated his proficiency in creating exceptional dining experiences. Notably, at The Westin, Chef Chaffin elevated the hotel restaurant to be recognized as one of the top 25 dining destinations in Atlanta and also named a “hot new restaurant concept” by Zagat in 2016.

He has held other various positions at prestigious establishments across the country, showcasing his culinary talents and expertise. He was recognized for his culinary excellence and awarded the title of ‘Savory Chef of the Year’ by the March of Dimes in 2012. Having started in the industry at just 14 years old, he graduated with a culinary degree from Le Cordon Bleu in 2009.

With a diverse background in culinary techniques, he continues to inspire and delight guests at Dahlia’s Restaurant & Porch with his passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
