Kourtney Perry is the mother of 2 beautiful girls. Family is a high priority in her life. She graduated from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) in 2007 with her Criminal Justice degree. Her background is in various different industries such as Automotive, Construction, Education, and Hospitality. In 2018, Kourtney ventured off to begin her own business as an Event Coordinator. The passion to help others create a lifetime full of memories brings a joy to her while running the forefront. The idea of creating a business comes with networking with people to build clientele. In that instance, she founded Beauty in Des Moines to bring positivity to the Facebook social media platform. The group is open to the public and has generated many opportunities for small businesses to gain access to several resources, networking opportunities, and bring awareness to their businesses. Amongst coordinating and planning events, Kourtney also provides other services such as Virtual Assistant, Business Consultations, Marketing, and Promotions. Writing has always been one of her strong points and in 2019 Kourtney had two articles published in the Mom Elevated Blog and Zodd Galaxy Magazine. She was also the creator of a newsletter launch for Urban City Magazine. She recently created her first magazine for an event she hosted titled “1st Annual Back to School Slay the Runway”.
