I have over 20 years experience teaching and mentoring hundreds of yoga students, teachers and yoga therapists from all over the world to implement the five-layer model of self-awareness in their professional work and personal practice. I’m a certified yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists, a faculty member at the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and a guest faculty at The Graduate Institute. I have a master’s degree in yoga therapy and mind/body health from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. My business, ProYoga Therapeutics has created and implemented a curriculum for introducing the five-layer model of self-awareness to children in after school and summer camp programs. This curriculum has served over 7,000 children since 1999. I’ve taught communications courses, including the art of public speaking at the university level and yoga, meditation and relaxation at hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation centers, universities, community and senior centers, and churches.
I’m an experienced public speaker with several published articles on the benefits of yoga. I’ve also published a children’s book, Ogi Bogi, The Elephant Yogi. My personal blog, info and articles etc. can be found here: www.bethgibbs.com
