Mom-to-Be Essentials: 2 Things Worth the Splurge When You're Expecting a Baby Wit and Wisdom Maternity Clothes

Life is hard enough without carrying around and sustaining another human life. Here are some things to make your life a little nicer while pregnant and those first few months postpartum:

  • Grocery Delivery: This is something I started when pregnant with my second. She is now almost 10 months old and I'm still utilizing this, because why drag a toddler and a baby out in the cold when I can get my groceries brought to me?! And the best part? This includes diapers. So, when I realize I put the last diaper on my baby before laying her down for bed, I can hop on my phone and get more diapers to my door before 7 a.m.
  • Nice Maternity Jeans: I know, no one wants to spend money on clothes that you wear for like four months until they don't fit anymore. But feeling great when pregnant is important and sometimes hard to accomplish. My favorite are by Topshop. They have an elastic band instead of a button and zipper, which made them fit comfortably for those first few months postpartum when my normal jeans didn't fit yet and the band actually helped shape my postpartum belly.

So, splurge mama, you deserve it!
