Sleep Routines: How to Put Your Baby or Toddler Down for a Nap! by Eirene Heidelberger

Naptime is the best time for Baby and Mom! It's vital that you create a routine for your baby or toddler before every sleep pattern so Baby knows that sleep is up next. Follow these easy steps:

  • A dark room and sound machine to set the nap mood and differ between play – and naptime.
  • A blankie for comfort and another sleep signal.
  • An aquarium, if you like.

The most important thing is that Baby's sleep schedule is the same time every day. When Mom leaves Baby's room, whether he is content or not, is not her problem. Her job is to let Baby fall asleep on his own and not over-think it!
