Appreciate All Life Offers: Why Great Loss & an Amazing Life Go Hand in Hand Motherhood
Most people would not associate life and living with loss and dying. I do. Life and death ride right along with one another; we can’t have one without the other. Life is important, every bit of it. Life includes loss and love and grief. Life is full of much happiness. Learning to love the ride alongside the grief is an important step in this journey.
In my life, I have lost so much – my daughter, my marriage, pieces of myself. I have built so much – confidence, faith, self-love. I know that without loss and pain, we cannot understand joy. I know that no pain is wasted, even if it takes perspective. Life is full of pain, but it is also so full of joy.
Appreciating it all is hard. Life is amazing laced with pain. It is so important to honor it all – smile, cry, laugh, break and live.
