Kids & Tech Time: 4 Tips to Help Parents Teach Boundaries on Technology & Screen Time! Tech Parenting
When kids tune into technology, they may become hooked and it can be a nightmare to get them to unplug from it. Here are four tips to help!
- Set limits. Before you even hand your kid a device, let them know exactly how much time they have on that device.
- Set rewards. When your child does something good, allow them to earn screen time on one of their favorite devices.
- Not every day! Do not let your child have screen time daily. Figure out a schedule and stick to it.
- Be an example! Take a look at yourself. Do YOU watch TV daily? Play on the iPad too much? Constantly on your cell phone?
Technology is great, but all in moderation - for everyone!
