For Father's Day, my daughters and I are baking my husband a cake. It's a fun family activity! I never bake, so it's a special treat and the kids are going to decorate it to their heart's content.
Most dads don't want another gadget; they want something from the heart. A sweet family project can mean a lot, especially because it will keep us around the house where we can give Dad extra hugs, instead of at the mall where we can just wrack up extra bills.
Oh, and we're using a cake mix with easy instructions. Proudly.
