Create the opportunity for ongoing, open dialogue about sexuality that naturally evolves as kids evolve and grow. Utilize children's curiosity as a doorway. No bodily functions, whether teaching toilet training, hygiene, body parts or the different aspects of sexuality, need be off-limits or saved for later subjects. We often don't give our children enough credit. Credit to take in information as early as they are actually able to do so, and thereby, allow them to grow up in a family environment that provides a safe place for:

• questions
• answers
• release of emotions 
• joyful self-expression
