Great read here, Melissa Vickers . One thing that makes me scroll right past a recipe is the list of ingredients. If it's a mile long, no thank you. Loving all your recipes! 30seconds.com/MelCVickers/tips...

Ditto on the long ingredient lists! When I look at a recipe, I want to see ingredients that I either have on hand, buy somewhat regularly, and/or that I can immediately think in terms of "I don't have that, but I could try substituting this." The substituting makes it more fun for me--I am definitely my mama's daughter! Some ingredients turn me off immediately--like most red meat recipes or pork recipes. We don't eat bacon and nowadays, that eliminates 90% of recipes. Thankfully, the wide range of recipes on 30Seconds covers just about any and all tastes and budget restrictions!

Great points here, Melissa Vickers! I love using rotisserie chicken in recipes, too. I find that it's worth it for several reasons. And yes, Donna John, about the ingredient list!
