Happy Family, Stocked Car: A Few Must-haves When Traveling With Kids! by Elisa Schmitz

While traveling in the car with kids, whether on vacation or just running them around town, you never know what you’re going to need. That’s why I always keep certain items in my car, just in case. In addition to safety items like flashlights and jumper cables, I stock the car with water non-perishable snacks like cereal, granola bars and crackers, and things like chairs, jackets, blankets and umbrellas - in case the weather turns on you. 

That way, whether we’re on the road or just in need of a pick-me-up while running errands, we can always be prepared!
