• A romantic act doesn’t have to include wine and candlelight. It can be as simple as a spouse picking up pizza and cold medicine if you’re too sick to move from the couch.

• Don’t get upset the trash is full; focus on your spouse calling on the way to the store to see if you need anything.

• Focus on their act of scrubbing the toilet because they know you dread the chore.
